Key Performance Indicators Definition
A Key Performance Indicator is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a company / department is achieving key business objectives. I use KPIs at multiple levels to evaluate the success at reaching targets. High-level KPIs may focus on the overall performance of the enterprise,
while low-level KPIs may focus on processes in departments such as Food and Beverage, or marketing center.

What makes a KPI effective?
A KPI is only as valuable as the action it inspires. Too often, organizations blindly adopt industry-recognized KPIs and then wonder why that KPI doesn't reflect their own business and fails to affect any positive change. One of the most important, but often overlooked, aspects of KPIs is that they are a form of communication. As such, they abide by the same rules and best-practices as any other form of communication. Succinct, clear and relevant information is much more likely to be absorbed and acted upon.

In terms of developing a strategy for formulating KPIs, your team should start with the basics and understand what your organizational objectives are, how you plan on achieving them, and who can act on this information. This should be an iterative process that involves feedback from analysts, department heads and managers. As this fact finding mission unfolds, you will gain a better understanding of which business processes need to be measured with KPIs and with whom that information should be shared.

Here, you need and will consider what it takes to track your KPI metrics, explore the dynamics or a contemporary KPI tracker, and look at how to track your KPIs.

What is a simple KPI?
The simple KPI is a great place to start for companies looking to track key metrics using KPI tools. As the name suggests, the KPI software is incredibly easy to keep, but is still very extensive in use and the starting points and statements of good KPI performance software to be gained.

Ask yourself which key messages do you need.
What are your recurring important numbers / statements that you need. Whether daily, weekly or at a different time interval, the evaluation of a few meaningful numbers / sums is enough right from the start to show you YOUR KPI. Only, these numbers and evaluations have to be read, understood and implemented in the right direction!

Take your daily sales / revenue. Complete this list with the number of working hours.
Now hold the number of employees against it.

Refine with / by the time.

Add the number of customers in relation to sales and employees. Or vice versa, what is the employee's turnover in one hour with
what number of customers / guests.

If you generate this list for each of your business opening day, you will receive meaningful figures with your personally business KPIs
over time.

You will notice changes in the months and seasons, you will notice the pre - main and sideline time with the corresponding sales and working hours, and you can coordinate according to your operational plans.
